Meservy family

 Family

Biographical History

The Meservy family from the Salt Lake Valley consists of three main branches who helped determine the family's history from the 1400s: Jersey-born migrant Joseph Robert Meservy (1842-1924), American Albion Keith Parris Meserve (1833-1904), and Frenchman minister Monsieur Jacques Alfred Messervy (1859-1921).

The Meservy family who immigrated to the Salt Lake Valley in 1853 originated in three main branches who helped in tracing their family's roots back to the 1400s. The primary individual of the family was John Robert Meservy, who was born on the British Isle of Jersey and who, after joining the Church, sailed with his family from the Isle to New Orleans to join up with the Trail to the Salt Lake Valley. The other two individuals responsible for the family tree are Monsieur Jacques Alfred Messervy, a French Reformed Church minister from the region of Mantilly, Normandy, France, and Albion Keith Parris, who graduated from Medical School in Maine and served in his community's Genealogical Society.
