The Washburn family relates to the Wakefield family and other families in Southern Utah. Prominent family members include Jesse Alvin Washburn (b. 1873; d. 1951), a farmer, teacher, and singer in the Duchesne area; James Andrews (b. 1877; d. 1936) a farmer and cattle buyer in Nephi, Utah; Valera Luella Wakefield Washburn (b. 1877; d. 1963), the spouse of Jesse Alvin Washburn (m. September 2, 1896) and mother of 11 children; the family extends to Cunliffe and Littley families, with prominent members being William Littley, Jr (b. 1833; m. Ann Bardsley 1876; d. 1903) and Hannah Cunliffe (b. 1855; m. William Andrews, Jr. 1874; d. 1909). Larrry Washburn is the descendant of Jesse and Luella Washburn.
