Contains papers related to the personal life and accomplishments of Smith, and his wife Lucile. Includes awards and certificates for Calvin, and documents related to Lucile receiving the Utah Mother of the Year Award. Also includes letters from Philo T. Farnsworth and Victor L. Brown, and the missionary diary of Calvin. Dated 1906-1976.

Calvin Schwartz Smith chaplain papers, 1917-1926
Contains records related to Smith's service as chaplain during World War I. Contains a blessing given by his father prior to his military service, an order book, three volumes of reminiscenses, a dog tag, a roster of soldiers from Utah in Smith's division, correspondence, and miscellaneous documents. Dated 1917-1926.
Susan Smith last will and testament
Photocopies of a handwritten last will and testament of Susan Smith and documents relating to her estate. Also included are photocopies of materials relating to the estate of Samuel Smith. These persons were children of Asael Smith (1744-1830), the paternal grandfather of the first president of the Mormon Church, Joseph Smith (1801-1844).

Katharine Smith Salisbury correspondence
Photocopies of handwritten letters and typed copies of correspondence. Salisbury writes to the Mormon Church leaders Brigham Young (1801-1877), Orson Pratt (1811-1881), and John Taylor (1808-1887) requesting funds. One letter in the collection is from Brigham Young. Two of the items were written by Salisbury to her "Dear Sister" (probably her sister-in-law, Samantha) in 1853 and 1854 lamenting the death of a family member, "Jenkins."

Typewritten biographies of Asael Smith and Mary Duty Smith, the grandparents of the first president of the Mormon Church, Joseph Smith (1805-1844). Also included are genealogies relating to the genealogy of Asael and Mary Duty Smith. The biographies are largely compilations of sources by Smith family members. The date of the composition of the item is uncertain.
