Photocopies of microfilm copies of a handwritten diary. Parkinson wrote about his life as a Mormon in Franklin, Idaho. He told about working in Franklin's bookstore, going into the canyons to cut lumber, and working on a farm. He also wrote about the death of Brigham Young, second president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-days, and floating logs down the Logan River to be used in the construction of the Mormon temple in Logan, Utah.
