Biography

Erdlen Photo was a photographer company established by Charles W. Erdlen that was active in Buena Vista, Colorado, later establishing itself in Salida, Colorado.

Erdlen Photo was established in Buena Vista, CO in 1885. It specialized in landscapes of the American West. In 1889, Erdlen took over C. Henry Clark's studio in Salida, CO when Clark left town. By 1892, Erdlen Photo was active in many places around Colorado. It's unknown if it was still active after 1898, but Erdlen himself lived in Colorado until around 1920.
