John Gorham Chandler letter and news article
ALS to his mother in which Chandler tells of troop plans to set out for California during the wars with the Pacific Coast Indians. He describes his clothing, bedding, and tentative itinerary of the journey. The newspaper article announces the departure of the Third Regiment of Artillery for California.
Dorothy Elizabeth Green papers
Photocopies of typed letters, typed journal entries, and newsclippings. Also included are a typed tribute from Dorothy's twin brother, Samuel Dean Green; a brief summary of Dorothy's career; and papers relating to her memorial service aod the Annual Dinner Meeting of the Fort Douglas Officers Club. Within the collection is also a color photograph of the headstone of her grave.
Happenings in the selective service system
Brochures, pamphlets, and newspaper clippings relating to the selective service system of the United States. The items document the changing policies of the draft in the for the United States military, primarily the army. Also inluded are the lottery numbers for men who were liable for the draft.

Colton W. Hill papers
Collection contains materials that are connected to service in the US Army in 1945-1946, and serving in Southwest Asia, Egypt, and Europe. It includes newspapers, several US magazines, tour flyers, military orders promoting Hill, and a letter from a friend back home.
George John Stumpf papers
Correspondence, certificates, newspaper clippings, programs, and identification cards. Many of the items deal with Lindbergh and with the death of Stumpf. Most of the certificates deal with Stumpf's service as an aviator in World War I.
