My life story
Typewritten autobiography of Agnes Boyer. The information was given to Don E. Norton of Brigham Young University in 1982 and 1983. Mr. Norton is transcribed the interviews. Boyer was active in Mormon Church affairs and served for many years as a temple worker in the Salt Lake Temple. Also included are reproductions of photographs of family members.
Olson & Hafen lantern slides
Materials include twelve lantern slides from Olson & Hafen Kodak Studio. These slides include photographs of an early expedition up Mount Timpanogos, as well as one photograph each of the Salt Lake Temple, the Manti Temple, the Brigham Young Academy building, and a group of soldiers. Materials dated approximately 1890-1920.

The item is a photograph of the Salt Lake Temple. The photograph was taken between the laying of the capstone in April 1892 and the dedication in April 1893. A part of the Salt Lake Tabernacle is barely visible on the left side of the photograph. Trees surround the Temple, but the gardens have not yet been planted. Two ladders and a man can be seen on the west spires.

This collection contains three photographs, ca. 1867-1892. Two photographs are of city scenes (Salt Lake City) from 1870 and 1872. The third is a collage of pictures that follow the construction of the temple and tabernacle in Salt Lake City from 1867-1892.

Lorenzo Snow letter
The folder contains a printed letter addressed to B. F. Cummings, Jr. and dated 8 September 1894. The item is a form letter in which Cummings' name was handwritten. Snow, then president of the Salt Lake Temple of the Mormon Church, requests donations of books to build up the library of that temple.
