She joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and migrated to Utah in 1856 with the ill-fated Willie handcart company. She settled in American Fork, Utah, and died in 1921.

She joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and migrated to Utah with the Willie handcart company. The biography is mainly an account of Margaret's ordeal on the trek to Utah. Margaret lost the use of one eye because it was frozen. She died in 1893.

Adams was born in Scotland in 1838, joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and migrated to Utah with the ill-fated Willie handcart company in 1856. She married, had 11 children, and died in 1912.

Includes a description of their conversion to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in England, their passage with the Willie Handcart Company, and their settling in Provo and Heber City, Utah. The document is undated, but appears to have been compiled some time after 1940.
