Arizona Airways was founded by Rocky Nelson in 1942 with headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona. The airline serviced flights throughout the state of Arizona. Due to financial difficulties and competition, the airline merged with Challenger Airlines and Monarch Airlines on June 1, 1950.
