Young Ambassadors (est. 1970) is a song and dance performing group from Brigham Young University.

In 1970, the Young Ambassadors performed for the first time internationally at Japan's Expo. Since then they have travelled and performed in more than 56 nations, and for such people as the prime minister of India, the queen of Thailand, and the King and Queen of Jordan. They perform contemporary music and dance and showcase America's culture, way of life, and musical theatre.

Scope and Contents

Collection consists of nine journals which chronicle Dee Winterton's experience as a professor at Brigham Young University, his work with the Ririe-Woodbury dance company, touring with the Brigham Young University Young Ambassadors, and his life with his family in those same years. Also included in the collection are personal papers, film reels, correspondence, and photographs relating to Dee's teaching career, family life, and touring experiences. Dated approximately 1935 to 1984.
