Biography
The Union Pacific Railroad Company was established in 1862. It later merged with the Kansas Pacific Railway Company and the Denver Pacific Railway and Telegraph Company to form the Union Pacific Railway Company.

A typed transcript of an article from the Salt Lake City, Utah Daily Tribune, titled "After Thirty-one Years, Capt. Hodges Gives a Unique Banquet," dated October 28, 1897. The article describes a banquet hosted by Capt. F. S. Hodges, a former Union Pacific railroad engineer, who is reuniting with Salt Lake City citizens who helped him build the railroad in Utah in 1866.

Also includes a typewritten biography of Charles Edward Clissold, his oldest son, written by Lenora Pearl Clissold Vincent, Charles Edward's daughter, which tells of his early life, marriages, children, immigration to Utah, work, family life, acting experiences, and death.
