Handwritten entries in a printed record book. The entries are lists of names for whom temple work was performed in the St. George Temple of the Mormon Church. Many of the names were taken from the "Book of Martyrs for the Truth."
Record proceeding at the direction of St. George Temple
Typewritten excerpt from a diary. The item is a typed copy of Woodruff's diary entry for 1 Jan. 1877. Woodruff was present at the "direction" of the St. George Temple in St. George, Utah, and offered a "Dedication Prayer" which he wrote into his diary. This dedication was for part of the temple.

Handwritten meeting minutes of the School of the Prophets in Provo, Utah. The intention of the school was to educate members of the Mormon Church in doctrines of the faith. The topics discussed related to Mormon and to Provo topics. An emphasis was placed on getting workers to go to St. George, Utah to help construct the Mormon temple there.
