Biography
The Electronic Media Department (1968-1993) was a services unit at Brigham Young University. The unit was responsible for managing audio and video technologies on campus.
The Electronic Media Department was established in 1968 to manage audio and sound services on the university campus. In 1977 it was integrated into the newly established Media Services division. In 1993 it was dissolved as an independent unit.
Directors included Dean M. Austin (1968-1977) and Ralph O. Hickenlooper (1977-1993)
