The Department of Economics, Sociology, and Commerce (1912-1917) was a teaching unit at Brigham Young University. The department was part of the Church Teachers College, and provided instruction on related subjects. The department chair was John C. Swensen. In 1917, the department was split and renamed as the Department of Economics and Commerce.
