The Department of Public Speaking and Dramatic Arts (1922-1929) was an instructional unit at Brigham Young University.

The Department of Public Speaking and Dramatic Arts was established in 1922 in an expansion of the previous Department of Public Speaking. The department was initially associated with the College of Arts and Sciences, and was transferred to the College of Fine Arts in 1925. Department chairs included Kathryn Pardoe (1922-1925) and Grace Stewart (1925-1929). In 1929, the department was renamed the Department of Speech.
