Administrative History

University of Tampere (1925-) is a higher education institution and one of the largest universities in Helsinki, Finland. The school originally opened in 1925 as the Civic College offering three degrees: management of cooperative organizations, journalism and public administration. In 1930 it was renamed the School of Social Sciences and finally in 1966 was renamed the University of Tampere offering over 70 degree programs in both English and Finnish.

Contains materials accumulated while Skousen was teaching a Fulbright course in statistical and linguistic probability at the University of Tampere in Finland. This includes lecture notes, class outlines, and similar course materials. Materials dated January-April 1982.
