Administrative History

The Institute of Professional Accountancy (1977-1983) was established by the Graduate School of Management to serve as an administrative organization for the university's bachelor and master of accounting programs.

The Institute of Professional Accountancy was established in 1977 as part of the Graduate School of Management. In 1979 the institute was transferred to the newly reorganized School of Management. It was then merged with the Department of Accountancy to form a new School of Accountancy in 1983.

The director was K. Fred Skousen (1977-1983).
