Combat Films and Research, Inc. was founded in 1997 by Dodge Billingsly. The company is a non-partisan think tank that sends out camera crews to document cultures and conflicts. Once the filming is completed, the company analyzes their work to create documentaries and other educational materials.

Scope and Contents

Contains six DVDs (three reference copies and three preservation copies) containing eight interviews with individuals who knew Helen Foster Snow. Individuals interviewed are An Wei, Huang Hua, Lu Cui, Gong Pusheng, Liu Lizhen, Lu Wanru, Israel Epstein, and Yu Jianting. Interviews were migrated from 16 mm film to DVD by Combat Films and Research and Dodge Billingsley, and were used in the production of the documentary Helen Foster Snow: Witness to Revolution (2000).
