Biography

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Provo Ward (1851-1852) was an ecclesiastical unit of the Church in Provo, Utah.

Provo Ward was established by Brigham Young on March 19, 1851 as part of the newly formed Utah Stake. Elias Hicks Blackburn was bishop. Provo Ward was divided into five separate wards in August 1852.
