Institutional Research & Planning (1978-1980) was responsible for internal audits and reviews.
Institutional Research & Planning at Brigham Young University was formed in 1978, and was previously known as Institutional Research. It was first directed by Leland H. Campbell, who was replaced by H. Bruce Higley in 1980. The office was primarily responsible for internal audits and reviews. It was renamed Institutional Studies in 1980.
