Administrative History

The Academics Office (1965-1988) functioned in order to foster intelligent citizenship, organize and provide adequate leadership for campus activities, and promote the interests of the students and the University.

The Academics Office was established in 1965 as a vice-presidency within the administrative structure of the Associated Students of Brigham Young University. The Associated Students of Brigham Young University was dissolved and replaced by the Brigham Young University Student Service Association in 1988.
