Scope and Contents
This series contains descriptions and music from dances and music around the world. Most of the descriptions are from workshops presented at the National Folk Organization annual conferences. The descriptions are from the following dance styles: Asia, Folk, Square, Contra, Social, Balak, Welsh, and Serbia. There is music in the form of a CD to accompany most styles. Dates range approximately from 1950-2009, bulk 2001-2009.

Scope and Contents
This series contains records of the annual event, Pourparler. The first event started in 1997, funded by the National Folk Organization. Pourparler is French, meaning to talk and dance excitedly without stopping for three days. The event brings together folk dance educators to listen to lectures, engage in discussion, and participate in spontaneous dance.
