Biography

RKO Radio Pictures was a motion picture production and distribution company. The company was originally established in 1929 as Radio Pictures during the founding of Radio-Keith-Orpheum Corporation. In 1931 the company merged with Pathé, and in was renamed RKO Radio Pictures in 1932. In 1955 the company merged with General Teleradio to form RKO Teleradio Pictures.
