Biography
The Latter-day Saint Nurses at War project (2002- ) gathers and publishes wartime experiences of Latter-day Saint nurses. The project is led by Dr. Patricia Rushton of the College of Nursing at Brigham Young University.

Lillie Jacobs Fitzsimons interviews
Typescript of an interview. Fitzsimons was sent to Australia and New Guinea in 1943. After 18 months, she went to a hospital in the Philippines. She talked about the challenges of nursing in a tropical area. She treated both American soldiers and Japanese captives.

Ruth Lofthouse Bingham interview
Typed interview. "Sister Bingham did not remember many of the experiences she had while she served as a nurse at war. With the help of her son, Byron, and through asking her many questions, she was able to remember a small amount of her service. Her main memory was that 'I took care of patients.'" She was born in Brigham City, Utah, and married Fred Alvin Bingham in 1947.
Wartime experiences : Aug. 1943 to Sept. 1945
Typed copy of an interview. Fife was stationed at Fort George Wright in Spokane, Washington, and was later transferred to Fairmont Army Airforce Base near Fairmont, Nebraska. She talked about her association with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints during the war. She married Leland James Fife in 1944.
