Administrative History

The David M. Kennedy Center for International Studies (1982- ) provides international study and service opportunities for students at Brigham Young University.

The center offers six interdisciplinary studies programs: Ancient Near East Studies, Asian Studies, European Studies, International Relations, Latin American Studies, and Middle Eastern Studies/Arabic. The center also holds conferences, seminars, and weekly forums on international issues designed to prepare students for international careers.

Collection of Stan L. Albrecht meeting minutes and materials related to said minutes. These materials include correspondence between Albrecht and Eldered G. Smith about his donated collection on the lives of Joseph and Hyrum Smith, statistics on faculty payments, the 1990/1991 improvment of the Harold B. Lee Library, the creation of Linguistics 98 to educate students on basic computer use, anti-Mormon materials, and plans for the expansion of the Law Library. Materials dated 1989 to 1990.
