Biography

Dixie College was a two-year college in Saint George, Utah. Previously known as Dixie Junior College, it was renamed in 1970. In 2000 the college was given the right to award baccalaureate degrees and was renamed Dixie State College of Utah.

The collection includes a detailed personal journal, obituaries, articles describing Hafen's life, letters from private citizens and elected officials concerning legislation. The collection describes the observations, opinions and experiences of Hafen, his business, family, friends and politics.
