Administrative History

The Young Democratic Club of Salt Lake County was founded October 15, 1931, and on December 3, 1931, the party constitution was ratified. At one point, the club had as many as 1200 members, but the club participation later dropped to as few as 150 members. Originally, the name of the organization was the Junior Democratic League of Salt Lake City, but the name was changed in 1939 and made official with the re-ratification of the constitution.
