Biography

The Parowan Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was established May of 1852 and paritcipated in various stake matters and experienced some membership problems.

The Parowan stake was settled by pioneers on the church and was established May of 1852 under president John Calvin Lazell Smith. The stake administrated in matters of church theology and church practice and exerpeinced some membership problems in 1855-56.
