Biography

The Young Men's Mutual Improvement Association was a youth organization for young men associated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Established in 1875, the organization was later reorganized as the Aaronic Priesthood MIA in 1972.

Scope and Contents

Typewritten biography of Brigham Morris Young. B. M. Young was a businessman who served two missions to Hawaii (1873-1875 and 1883) and helped organize the Young Men's Mutual Improvement Associations in numerous places for the Mormon Church. He married Armeda Snow who was the daughter of the fifth president of the Mormon Church, Lorenzo Snow (1814-1901).
